The international rating agency of Moody's Investors Service announce that since July 30 the evaluation of rating of the International Bank of Azerbaijan has been changed from "Stable" to "Positive". Other ratings of IBA, specifically: short-term with regard to deposits in a foreign currency - Not Prime, long-term with regard to deposits in a foreign currency – in the level ov the sovereign rating of Azerbaijan - Ba2, long-term in the national currency - Baa2, short-term in the national currency - Prime-2 (P-2), long-term rating of subordinated debt instruments in foreign currency - Baа3 and financial support rating (E+) are confirmed at the previous levels.

In 6th of September the Fitch Ratings has increased the rating of issuer default ("RID") of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) from "BB" to "BB+" (BB plus) . The support rating of IBA is confirmed at level "3", and: short-term rating "B" and individual rating "D/E". Forecast on bank RID– "Stable".
In February the Fitch Ratings has increased the rating of issuer default ("RID") of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) from "BB-" (BB minus) to "BB". The support rating of IBA is confirmed at level "3", and: short-term rating "B" and individual rating "D/E". Forecast on bank RID– "Stable". This rating reflects the higher capability of Azerbaijani authorities to support IBA is necessary, which is verified by recent increase of Azerbaijan’s RID to «BB+».

In December The Moody’s Investors Service international ratings agency has assessed the rating of the International Bank of Azerbaijan. The long-term IBA rating in local currency is assessed at the level of Baa2, and short-term at Prime-2 (P-2). The long-term rating in foreign currency is assessed at Ba2, and short-term at Not Prime (NP). The financial support rating (FSR) is established at E+ level. Agency has provided the stable forecast of rating fluctuations. IBA ratings in foreign currency are limited as a result of assessment of general rating of Azerbaijan (Ba2/NP).
