Personal cheques

Our Bank also effects collection of personal cheques issued by foreign banks. If you have been paid by a bank cheque, you can present it for collection. Based on your order, the cheque will be submitted to the issuing bank for payment. Our Bank will pay you the requested amount once the issuing bank has verified that the cheque is authentic and the endorser has sufficient funds in his account to make the payment. Such transaction typically takes from 25 to 45 days.

If you need to pay for education, tests or other services by means of a worldwide recognized bank cheque, IBA gives you the opportunity to purchase cheques issued by the world's largest bank such as Bankers Trust or Barclays Bank.

Documents required

In order make operations with traveller's cheques or personal cheques you must present your identification card (national identification card or passport). When getting cash for traveller's cheques you must also present the slips you received when buying the cheques.
