The Bank pays special attention to the rapidly developing plastic card business. Promotion of non-cash settlements by using plastic cards is crucial for the whole economy, hence which has become a business priority for the IBA.
IBA, as a full member of VISA International and MasterCard International and exclusiv partner of American Express, offers broad choice of plastic card services ranging from issuing to using. IBA offers American Express Card, American Express Gold Card, American Express Platinum, Visa Electron, Visa InternetCard, Visa Classic, Visa Classic LadiesCard, Visa Gold, Visa Platinum, Visa Business, Visa Business Gold, Cirrus Maestro, MasterCard WebCard, MasterCard Standard, MasterCard Gold, MasterCard Business. Having a processing company of its own enables the Bank to improve the quality of service and develop new bank products delivered to holders of international plastic cards.
The ATM network of the International Bank of Azerbaijan covers over 50 towns across the country, including Baku, Nakhchivan, Sumgayit, Ganja, Ali Bayramly, Mingechevir, etc. This network consists of more than 600 ATMs.
IBA also tends to promote the acquiring network: over 2500 trade and service entities accept the bank's cards; major stores, famous boutiques, restaurants, hotels and other business entities are now equipped to allow for using plastic cards. The acquiring terminal network makes the card payments even more affordable and attractive to customers.
VISA InterCard and MasterCard WebCard cards designed for payments via the Internet are becoming more and more popular. It should be noted that using plastic cards for paying utility, landline and cellphone bills, as üell as for the bills of internet providers has been increasing intensively. The usage of Internet Banking and MobileBanking systems is growing rapidly.
The IBA implements the "Salary card" project in addition to corporate cards. The effectiveness of this system was tested and proven through servicing staff members of around 700 enterprises and organizations across the country.
